Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 May 2026
1. What yooh is
yooh is an SMS-based introductions and meetup service operated for users in Australia. You text in, we help you meet people. By using yooh you agree to these Terms.
2. Who can use yooh
You must be 18 or older. By using the service you confirm that you are. We reserve the right to suspend any account where we detect under-18 use.
You must have a working Australian mobile number and use it under your own real identity. One account per person.
3. How credits work
- You buy credit packs via Stripe. Prices and pack sizes are shown at checkout.
- A credit is held when you start an intro and only deducted when both sides accept.
- If the other side passes or the request expires, no credit is spent.
- Credits are non-refundable once used. Unused credits don't expire.
- If you believe you were charged in error, email [email protected] within 14 days.
4. SMS pricing and carrier behaviour
Inbound and outbound SMS are sent over Australian carrier networks. Standard carrier rates may apply on your side. yooh covers its own outbound costs.
Text STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for the full command list.
5. Conduct
By using yooh you agree to:
- Meet in public for first meetups.
- Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, or unwanted sexual content.
- No spam, scams, or solicitation.
- No fake profiles, no impersonation.
- Accept our right to remove anyone for breaching these rules.
Report issues via REPORT by SMS, or visit Safety.
6. Photo verification
We may ask you to take a verification selfie. Verification is required before your first intro. The selfie is stored only to confirm liveness and identity, never shared with other users.
7. Termination
We can suspend or remove your account if you breach these Terms or applicable law. You can pause any time with PAUSE or unsubscribe with STOP. On account closure we delete personal data per the Privacy Policy.
8. Liability
yooh is a way to be introduced. We do not run background checks. You are responsible for who you meet and how you meet them. To the maximum extent permitted by law, yooh excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be sent to your number by SMS with reasonable notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
